The working principle of calcium aluminate rotary kiln is to generate calcium aluminate by chemical reaction between bauxite and limestone through high temperature calcination. The material enters the inclined rotating cylinder from the end of the kiln, gradually moves to the kiln head under the action of kiln rotation and gravity, and passes through the preheating zone (dewatering and decomposition), the calcining zone (formation of the mineral phase of calcium aluminate) and the cooling zone in turn, with the burner providing a high-temperature heat source at the kiln head, and finally obtains the sintered calcium aluminate clinker. The whole process realizes continuous production, and the reaction is fully carried out by controlling the speed, temperature and residence time.
